The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) released 2024 exam priorities earlier this week, emphasizing compliance around reporting regulations.
Asset management partner Brian McCabe told Ignites that “the number of documents you have to produce is a lot higher, and that is requiring some folks to completely retool their processes.”
“That involves compliance, but not just compliance; it's a lot of auditors and accounting people and staff writers and more,” Brian said.
