Senior attorney Irina Sivachenko recently joined an all-women panel to explore the latest developments and insights surrounding the Department of Justice (DOJ) Whistleblower Program within FCPA cases. The TransPerfect CLE program titled, Department of Justice Whistleblower Program: Expected Impacts on FCPA Compliance Programs & Investigations, examined the positive impact of the DOJ’s program on compliance, challenges in internal investigations, concerns about creating a safe environment for employees, and effects on the FCPA environment.
Panelists also provided valuable insights into integrating whistleblower protections, managing investigations ethically, fostering a supportive workplace culture, and aligning FCPA compliance strategies with whistleblower program requirements.
The firm’s award winning anti-corruption and international risk practice team includes several former federal prosecutors and enforcement attorneys from U.S. Attorney’s offices, the SEC, and the DOJ, notably two former members of the FCPA Unit, who advise clients on all aspects of anti-corruption related issues across the globe.
