Ropes & Gray advised the underwriters in Chimera Investment Corp.’s public offering of $74.75 million aggregate principal amount of its 9.250% senior notes due 2029. The transaction closed on Aug. 19.
Chimera is a publicly traded real estate investment trust, or REIT, that is primarily engaged in the business of investing in mortgage assets through its subsidiaries on a leveraged basis.
