Ropes & Gray Advises Cutera in Prepackaged Chapter 11 Cases

Ropes & Gray advised Cutera, Inc., a leading provider of aesthetic and dermatology solutions for practitioners worldwide, in prepackaged chapter 11 cases to reduce the company’s debt by nearly $400 million, or over 90%, and raise $65 million in new money from existing lenders. The transaction was announced in a March 5 press release.

The team included business restructuring partners Natasha Hwangpo and Ryan Preston Dahl, finance partners Sam Badawi and Jennifer Harris, private equity partner James C. Davis, tax partners Amanda Holt and Scott Pinarchick, capital markets partner Faiza Rahman, litigation partners Thomas Brown, Matt McGinnis and Helen Gugel and executive compensation & employee benefits partner Jenny Rikoski Whitney.
