The 129th Boston Marathon, which took place on April 21, was a remarkable event coinciding with the 250th anniversary of Patriots’ Day. This year, Ropes & Gray proudly participated in the Marathon Daffodils tradition, a beautiful initiative that began after the 2013 marathon bombing. Thousands of daffodils, including many donated by our office, lined the 26.2-mile route, symbolizing resilience and hope.
Our dedicated team of volunteers—Jeremy Daniels, Sharon Evans, Laurie Fitzgerald, Sharon Johnson, Brittany Kern, Christine Lee, Ryan McCaffrey, Christine Miller, and Mary O’Connell—worked tirelessly to spread hundreds of daffodils along the marathon route.
