In a RealClear Investigations article on scientific research misconduct and obstacles to investigations, health care partner Mark Barnes explained that while changes in regulations can make biomedical research investigators more rigorous, the matter is fundamentally an ethical issue.
“Institutions need to be proactive and deal with the issue on the front end by training young researchers in ethics to curb misconduct before it happens,” said Mark.
