Ropes & Gray represented Foundation Medicine in connection with the sublease of approximately 265,000 square feet at 400 Summer Street in Boston’s Seaport to Hasbro Inc. Ropes & Gray previously represented Foundation Medicine in the 16 story, 600,000+ square foot building with WS Development in 2019.
This transaction enables Hasbro, one of the world’s largest toy companies, to relocate its Rhode Island operations to Boston, occupying approximately seven floors in the recently developed lab-and-office building. The sublease agreement and related documentation was finalized in September 2025.
