Private equity partner Garrett Charon spoke to PitchBook in an article on recent multibillion-dollar deals, which are being driven by deregulation and the advancement of AI.
The idea that “big deals are bad” is going away, Garrett told PitchBook. The article notes that the Trump administration has taken a lighter approach to financial regulation, but certain industries still attract attention from the government.
“Life sciences, healthcare and technology are still being highly scrutinized,” Garrett said.
