Ropes & Gray has advised Facile.it Broker di Assicurazioni S.p.A., a leading tech company and Silver Lake portfolio company specializing in brokering insurance and financial products, domestic utilities, long-term car rental services, and other major household expenses for Italian families, on its acquisition of Horizon Automotive S.p.A., Italy’s first Tech Mobility Company.
Through this transaction, Facile.it will strengthen its long-term car rental offering for private consumers and expand its services to the B2B and corporate fleet sectors.
Founded in 2020, Horizon Automotive has established itself as Italy’s first Mobility Hub, driven by a unique business model and a technological platform that brings together rental companies, car dealerships, manufacturers, and end customers.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity partners Cataldo Piccarreta and Luca Maranetto, with support from associate Federica Di Terlizzi and trainee Marianna Pessi.
