Mergers & acquisitions partner Suni Sreepada spoke to PitchBook about the recent uptick in high-value deals. About 57% of M&A transactions in 2025 were valued at $1 billion or more, the highest share since 2015 according to PitchBook, a trend attributed in part to the Trump administration’s regulatory approach and interest rates.
“With the environment warming up a bit, those mega-deals are becoming more attainable,” Suni said.
