Ropes & Gray advised TA Associates, a leading global investment firm, in connection with a strategic investment in Too Lost, a music technology and services platform supporting independent artists and record labels. The investment was led by GoldState Music, a premier music investment firm, and TA Associates, alongside a senior credit facility from Pinnacle Financial Partners. The transaction was announced in a March 16 press release.
This capital significantly expands Too Lost’s ability to invest in artist advances, catalog acquisitions, and the continued development of its proprietary technology platform.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity partner Christian Westra and associate Brandon Winer and included tax partner Zhen Zhang, IP transactions partner Jordan Altman, employment partner Megan Bisk, employment, executive compensation and employee benefits partner Danna Kivell, finance partner Michael Lee, and data, privacy & cybersecurity partner Edward McNicholas.Stay Up To Date with Ropes & Gray
