Ropes & Gray represented newly-launched Tortugas Neuroscience in equity financings led by Cure Ventures, The Column Group, and AN Ventures, and in strategic licensing deals with Jiangsu Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group and Eisai Co. Ltd.
Tortugas launched on April 21, 2026 with $106 million from Cure Ventures, The Column Group, and AN Ventures. The company plans to develop two schizophrenia and tinnitus drugs licensed from Hansoh, as well as medicines for focal epilepsy and encephalopathies originally created by Eisai.
