Asset management partner Steve Zaorski spoke to PitchBook for an article on what small fund managers are doing to attract capital in the current fundraising environment.
Unlike prior cycles, LPs are now looking at specific transactions as part of their due diligence process, PitchBook noted.
“People are going more line by line now,” Steve told the publication. Investors “are now also interested in the process as to how the manager got there,” he added, referring to managers seeking to replicate successes from predecessor funds.
