Ropes & Gray is representing Ripple Fiber, a leading 100% fiber-optic internet provider and network operator, in connection with the acquisition of Ripple Fiber by Eaton Fiber, an affiliate of Tillman Global Holdings. Eaton Fiber and Ripple Fiber have entered into a definitive agreement with respect to the acquisition. Bain Capital and Tillman Global Holdings announced a $1.5 billion investment in Eaton Fiber, which fully funds the acquisition of Ripple Fiber and the next phase of Eaton Fiber’s network expansion. The transaction was announced on July 29.
