Ropes & Gray Advised Bain Capital in its Agreement to Acquire SOLitude Lake Management from Rentokil Initial

Ropes & Gray represented Bain Capital in its agreement to acquire SOLitude Lake Management, LLC and its Vertex Aquatic Solutions division from Rentokil Initial plc (FTSE/NYSE: RTO). The transaction was announced on Sept. 22.

SOLitude is a leading lake and pond management company in the United States with more than 50 years of combined experience providing customized and sustainable services — including ongoing lake and pond management, shoreline restoration, and water quality control — to communities, municipalities, and property owners nationwide.

Bain Capital is a global private investment firm that manages several pools of capital including private equity, venture capital, credit, public equity, impact investing, life sciences and real estate with approximately $225 billion in assets under management.
