At a ceremony on April 25, Ropes & Gray was honored with the Managing IP Americas Awards 2024 for “U.S. Firm of the Year—PTAB (Patent Trial and Appeal Board).”
The firm was recognized for “Impact Deal of the Year for Novo Nordisk and Valo Health $2.7 Billion Collaboration Agreement” led by IP transactions partner Hannah England and IP transactions associate Ian Nilsen. We advised Novo Nordisk in the Valo Health collaboration to discover and develop novel treatments for cardiometabolic diseases such as heart attack, stroke and diabetes using real-world patient data and artificial intelligence machine learning models to accelerate the process of discovering and developing new small molecule therapies.
We were also awarded “Impact Deal of the Year for Eli Lilly and TRexBio $1.1 Billion Collaboration Agreement” led by IP transactions partner Abigail Gregor and IP transactions associate Ian Nilsen. The firm represented TRexBio in a multi-year research collaboration and exclusive worldwide license agreement with Eli Lily and Company to develop novel therapies for the treatment of immune-mediated diseases.
