Crain’s Chicago Business has named vice chair Neill Jakobe to its 2025 “Notable M&A Dealmakers” list. This list recognizes the professionals who are guiding transformative deals across industries, from private equity and venture capital to manufacturing, health care, energy and beyond all while contributing to initiatives that strengthen Chicago’s business community.
Neill was recognized for representing clients in highly complex deals, including EQT’s $3 billion Avetta acquisition; Xerox’s $1.5 billion acquisition of Lexmark; and GHO Capital Partners' and Ampersand Capital's $1.1 billion acquisition of Avid Bioservices. Neill was also noted for serving on the corporate board of Cradles to Crayons and for supporting the James B. Moran Center for Youth Advocacy.
