Ropes & Gray will be honored with the inaugural Pro Bono Award from the Massachusetts Appleseed Center for Law and Justice.
The Pro Bono Award was established to recognize organizations that demonstrate exceptional commitment to equity, fairness, and public service, and that achieve sustained impact through legal advocacy.
The firm was selected for its contributions to Massachusetts Appleseed’s Homeless Youth Handbook, which provides clear and practical legal information on LGBTQ+ issues, healthcare and immigration for young people. The firm is also recognized for its firmwide commitment to access to justice, contributing over 139,000 pro bono hours in 2024, with more than 95% attorney participation.
Award recipients will be honored at the Massachusetts Appleseed’s 2025 Good Apple Award Reception, taking place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
