Ropes & Gray's private equity group has been named a 2025 Private Equity Group of the Year by Law360. The recognition honors the firm's exceptional year handling over 300 private equity deals with a total value of $175 billion.
In a profile, Law360 highlighted the private equity team's representation of EQT in its $14.5 billion acquisition of Nord Anglia Education, and New Mountain Capital in $18 billion worth of transactions including the formation of the Smarter Technologies healthcare revenue management platform.
