Litigation & enforcement partner and managing partner of our Los Angeles office Amy Jane Longo and health care partner Torrey McClary were recognized in the Los Angeles Business Journal's 2026 "Women of Influence: Attorneys" list. This prestigious recognition highlights exceptional leadership, expertise, and impact in the legal industry, as well as significant contributions to the Los Angeles business community.
Amy was honored for her nearly 30 years of securities litigation experience, with significant first-chair experience as both a defense counsel and a senior SEC trial attorney. Among her most notable achievements, she served as the head of the SEC's Los Angeles Regional Office trial unit for nearly five years before joining Ropes & Gray in 2022 as a founding partner in the Los Angeles office, where she now leads high-profile litigation and enforcement matters spanning SEC and DOJ enforcement, commercial, privacy, and securities litigation, and cutting-edge cryptocurrency issues.
Torrey was recognized for structuring and negotiating some of the most prominent and complex health system deals in California and nationwide, guiding organizations on key strategic, legal and operational decisions. She advises academic medical centers, nonprofit hospitals, and health systems through highly-regulated mergers, consolidations, affiliations and other innovative transactions. A founding partner of Ropes & Gray’s Los Angeles office, she has grown the firm’s top-tier health care platform and built a talented legal team to serve California-based and national clients on complex deals, regulatory matters and other critical legal issues.
