Ropes & Gray Partners with Kayo Conference Series to Bring Women Professionals Together

Ropes & Gray sponsored the recent Kayo Women’s Private Markets Summit, which brought together women leaders in private equity and asset management. The two-day summit focused on delivering actionable industry insights, networking and professional development, and comprised a Credit Forum on Sept. 23, followed by a Private Equity Conference on Sept. 23 – 24.

At the Credit Forum, Jessica O’Mary, a partner in Ropes & Gray’s asset management group and leader of the firm’s credit funds team, presented on what the future holds for private credit; Patricia Lynch, head of the firm’s securitization practice, presented on how to manage private credit alongside private equity strategically.

Later on Sept. 23, Debra Lussier, a partner in Ropes & Gray’s asset management practice and co-leader of the firm’s buyout and growth equity team, led the opening Private Equity Conference panel with a discussion on how to deploy capital while preparing to pursue opportunities in a falling market. On Sept. 24, three Ropes & Gray partners presented: Jane Goldstein, co-head of the firm’s mergers & acquisitions group for North America led a fireside chat; Amanda Morrison, co-head of the firm’s private equity industry group, discussed innovation in consumer products; and Carolyn Vardi, a partner in the private equity transactions group, discussed how to execute successful merger integration plans.
