Kohlberg & Co. Sells Packaging Dynamics to NOVOLEX
Ropes & Gray represented Kohlberg & Company and its portfolio company, Packaging Dynamics, in the proposed sale of Packaging Dynamics to NOVOLEX in a deal announced Nov. 10. Packaging Dynamics is a leading manufacturer of flexible, paper-based food packaging products. The combined companies will operate under the NOVOLEX name with approximately $1.9 billion in expected revenue.
The Ropes & Gray team included private equity partner William Shields (Boston), tax partner Aaron Harsh (Boston), private equity associate Timothy Castelli (Chicago) and tax associate Pam Glazier (Boston).
