Ropes & Gray advised Pfingsten Partners, L.L.C. in its acquisition of Crane 1 Services, Inc. in partnership with management. Based in Franklin, Ohio, Crane 1 Services, Inc. is a leading independent provider of overhead crane services including inspections, maintenance, repair, design and installation of overhead crane systems, and equipment.
The acquisition was announced Oct. 20. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity partner Neill Jakobe (Chicago) and included tax partner Aaron Harsh (Boston); finance partner Alexander Zeltser (New York); business & securities litigation partner Nicholas Berg (Chicago); and real estate & environmental partner Peter Alpert (Boston).
