Bloomberg BNA Health Care Daily Report quoted life sciences partner Greg Levine (Washington, D.C.) in a Jan. 21 article on the FDA and Department of Homeland Security encouraging medical device makers to participate in public-private cybersecurity information sharing efforts. Mr. Levine said the promise of no new FDA reporting is meant to encourage medical device manufacturers to participate in federal Information Sharing Analysis Organizations and that device makers should be including cybersecurity preparations in their premarket and postmarket product surveillance plans.
