Shannon Capone Kirk Discusses Potential Impact of Artificial Intelligence on E-Discovery
E-discovery counsel Shannon Capone Kirk participated as a speaker in a Legalweek New York 2018 session titled “A Day in the Life of a Futurist Jurist Empowered by Artificial Intelligence: An Ethical Dilemma” that examined how AI could possibly impact the legal industry in years to come.
In a Feb. 1 article in Legaltech News, Ms. Kirk is quoted based on her comments during the session on the future of AI in e-discovery. Ms. Kirk says that the e-discovery process “will be greatly approved with less fighting in the future” because of two important potential changes: the advancement of information governance technology and improvements in technology-assisted review.
