Ropes & Gray represented The Hillman Group, Inc. a North American provider of complete hardware solutions, in its acquisition of Big Time Products, a provider of personal protection and work gear products. Hillman will expand its portfolio of product solutions for both DIY and professional customers. The transaction was announced on August 29.
Hillman, founded in 1964 and headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, designs innovative product and merchandising solutions for complex categories to home improvement centers, mass merchants, national and regional hardware stores, pet supply stores, and OEM and Industrial customers.
