Ropes & Gray Represents Wynnchurch Capital on $2.277 Billion Fundraising for Fund V

Ropes & Gray represented Wynnchurch Capital, a leading middle market private equity firm, on Wynnchurch Capital Partners V, L.P (the Fund). The Fund announced the final closing at $2.277 billion of committed capital on Jan. 21.

The Fund, which had a target of $1.6 billion, was significantly oversubscribed, resulting in the Fund reaching its hard cap and closing quickly after its initial launch in September 2019.

The Ropes & Gray team, led by Amanda Persaud, included Jim Brown, Joel Wattenbarger, Mark Sugino, Alyssa Clough Horton, Kathryn Seevers, April Herleikson and Elyssa Westby.
