Ropes & Gray Advises ArcLight on Seventh Fund with $3.4 Billion in Commitments

A Ropes & Gray team advised ArcLight Capital Partners on the final closing of its latest fund, ArcLight Energy Partners Fund VII. The fund closed with approximately $3.4 billion in commitments. ArcLight has raised over $19 billion globally since inception. The fund closing was announced in a Feb. 3 press release.

The team advising ArcLight was led by asset management partner Raj Marphatia (Silicon Valley, San Francisco). It included asset management partners Jason Brown (Boston) and Brynn Rail (New York), and tax partner Adam Greenwood (Boston). It also included counsel Alyssa Horton (Boston), Michael Jurasic (Boston), senior attorney Jennifer Gorman (Boston) and associates Gideon Blatt (Boston), Anne Fox (Chicago), Jeremy Liabo (Chicago), Daniel Rockower (New York), Kathryn Seevers (Washington, D.C.) and Lauren Stewart (Boston).
