Ropes & Gray represented TPG Capital and its portfolio company Wind River in the software company’s $4.3 billion sale to Aptiv PLC. The acquisition is expected to close mid-year 2022 and is subject to customary conditions. The transaction was announced on Jan. 11, 2022 in a press release. 

TPG Capital is the private equity platform of TPG, a leading global alternative asset management firm with $109 billion of assets under management. Wind River, based in Alameda, California, is a global leader in delivering software for mission-critical intelligent systems.
