John Huffington and partner in Ropes & Gray’s Washington, D.C. office Chong Park, interviewed on ABC News’ Live Prime, discussed Mr. Huffington being pardoned after serving 32 years – 10 on death row – for a crime he did not commit and the time and resources Ropes & Gray dedicated pro bono.

Governor Larry Hogan of Maryland granted a full innocence pardon to Mr. Huffington on January 13, 2023. The life changing gesture is the result of 152 lawyers and legal professionals dedicating more than 30 years and 13,000 hours to clear Mr. Huffington’s name.
