Edward Ahanmisi is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s corporate department, which includes private equity transactions, debt financing and strategic transactions.

During law school, Edward spent a semester working for a multi-billion-dollar agribusiness multinational in Chicago and another semester assisting at St. Louis’ Community Development Administration.

    • its $4.5 billion take-private acquisition of Envestnet, a provider of integrated technology, intelligent data and wealth solutions
    • its sale of Yodlee, an open finance and data analytics subsidiary of Envestnet
  • Represented New Mountain Capital in its simultaneous acquisition by Datavant of Aetion, Inc., a healthcare-focused technology company that develops software to enable transformation of real-world data into real-world evidence; Ontellus, a leading technology enabled services platform that services insurance carriers, legal requestors, and third-party administrators; and Digital Owl Inst. Ltd., a healthcare-focused technology company that harnesses Natural Language Processing and Artificial Intelligence to provide a faster, more efficient process of reviewing medical records
  • Represented McNally Capital in connection with its financing for its acquisitions of Xcelerate Solutions and its subsidiaries, a company that provides end-to-end national security advisory services through Enterprise Security, Digital Transformation, and Strategic Consulting
  • Represented Davidson Kempner in connection with its financing for its acquisition of Upchurch, a leading regional mechanical, electrical and plumbing service provider
