Thierry Arachtingi is a recognized leader in the French and European banking and finance markets. He focuses his practice on financing and debt restructuring.

Thierry has advised financial sponsors, corporate enterprises, financial institutions and debt funds on a wide range of financings for domestic and cross-border acquisitions, including leveraged buyouts, tender offers, public-to-private transactions and private investments in public equity. He has deep experience representing lenders and sponsors with respect to their funds’ and portfolio companies’ borrowing needs.

Thierry’s work has received international recognition from numerous leading sources, including Chambers, The Legal 500 and IFLR. He is ranked Band 1 in the Banking and Finance section of Chambers. Clients tell Chambers that Thierry is a “deal maker” who is “strong at balancing the pure legal side with the negotiation side of a deal.” He has been named to The Legal 500 EMEA’s elite “Hall of Fame” (2023, 2024) and is regarded by clients as “one of the Parisian kings of acquisition financing.”
