During law school, Jessica served as an article selection editor for the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review and was the Professional Development Director of the Harvard Law School Women's Law Association. Additionally, she trained in the Health Law and Policy Clinic in Harvard Law School’s Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation and in the Education Law Clinic of the Trauma and Learning Policy Initiative. She also clerked in Washington, D.C. for the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Legal Counsel. Throughout law school, Jessica completed over 1000 pro bono hours.
Jessica obtained her Bachelor of Art degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles where she graduated magna cum laude and with College Honors.
