Marie is an associate in the asset management & tax practice, where she advises clients on both domestic and cross-border tax matters. Her practice primarily focuses on private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate investments.
Marie’s experience extends to investment fund structuring (GP side), where she provides strategic advice on complex arrangements and their tax implications. Marie also has experience in advising investors on their primary investments in investment funds (LP side).
She joined Ropes & Gray’s Paris office in 2026. Before joining Ropes & Gray, she worked as a managing associate in the tax and investment funds practices of another global law firm where she had the opportunity to be seconded to the corporate practice in Paris and to the tax practice in Lisbon.
Experience
- Advised Ardian, a global private investment firm, on an agreement with a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (“ADIA”), to launch a new real estate secondaries platform.
- Represented Ardian and an investment structure in the setting-up and the fundraising of Clean H2 Infra Fund, the world’s largest clean hydrogen infrastructure investment platform.*
- Represented Ardian on the setting-up and the fundraising of a number of co-investment funds.*
- Represented AXA IM and CAPZA in the setting-up of CAPZA Private Equity Selection FCPR which invests alongside CAPZA Flex Equity Mid-Market I, CAPZA Flex Equity Mid-Market II and CAPZA Growth Tech.*
- Represented CAPZA in the setting-up and the fundraising of CAPZA Growth Tech SLP.*
- Represented CAPZA in the setting-up and the fundraising of CAPZA Flex Equity Mid-Market II.*
- Represented a French family office in connection with its investment into a private investment fund.*
- Represented Ardian and a leading infrastructure investor in their takeover offer for Suez during the takeover battle with a French multinational company (Veolia).*
- Represented Compass Group in France on the acquisition of Dupont Restauration, one of the leaders in contract catering in France.*
- Represented Helexia, a leading energy transition and energy efficiency services provider, on the financing of a portfolio comprising 240 projects located in France, Italy, Belgium, Portugal and Spain.*
