Chris Connelly is an associate practicing primarily in the firm’s private equity group. He represents private equity firms and strategic investors in connection with mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, dispositions, recapitalizations and other transactions. Chris also routinely advises clients on general corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Chris practiced at a global law firm in Los Angeles, where he represented clients across diverse industries including technology, healthcare, aviation and financial services.
Experience
- Represented Innovator Capital Management, LLC in connection with the sale of the company to Goldman Sachs for $2 billion.*
- Represented Edgewater Funds in connection with the acquisition of Triple Threat Communications, a strategic marketing agency, for its portfolio company Deerfield Group.*
- Represented CogneSense in connection with its acquisition of Varec, Inc., a supplier of bulk liquid management solutions.*
- Represented Liberty Hall Capital Partners in the initial acquisition its portfolio company Comply365, a provider of enterprise SaaS and mobile solutions, and Comply365’s subsequent cross-border merger with Vistair Limited.*
- Represented J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners as the lead investor in a €36 million Series B financing round for Eye Security, a European cybersecurity platform.*
