Jacopo Figus Diaz’s practice focuses on European and Italian competition law as well as foreign direct investment. He assists Italian and foreign clients on a wide range of antitrust issues, including restrictive practices, cooperation agreements, abuses of dominance and merger control proceedings before the European Commission and the Italian Competition Authority as well as in litigation before Italian administrative and civil courts and the EU courts. Jacopo also advises clients on consumer protection, antitrust compliance, foreign subsidies (FSR) and FDI (golden power) matters.
Jacopo has significant and specific experience in various sectors, including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, media & telecom, financial services, aerospace and automotive.
Jacopo authored numerous publications on competition law and is a member of the European and International law commission of the Rome Bar.
