Amanda Fang is an associate in the business restructuring practice group in New York. Her practice involves representing debtors, creditors, and investors in a broad range of restructuring matters, including chapter 11 cases, out-of-court restructurings, bankruptcy-related acquisitions, bankruptcy litigation, cross-border matters and capital structure solutions for distressed companies.
Amanda maintains an active pro bono practice and currently serves on the junior associate board of the New York Legal Assistance Group.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Amanda was an associate at another international law firm in the restructuring group.
Experience
Debtor/Company-Side Experience
- Represented Mondee Holdings, Inc. and certain of its affiliates in their chapter 11 cases in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, filed to address approximately $250 million in funded debt through a court-supervised sale of substantially all assets implemented pursuant to a restructuring support agreement and investigate potential claims and causes of action.*
- Represented Dynata, LLC and certain of its affiliates in their prepackaged chapter 11 cases in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware which resulted in a 40% reduction of approximately $1.3 billion of debt and $81.5 million of new money financing. The case emerged from chapter 11 in five weeks.*
- Represented Near Intelligence, Inc. and certain of its affiliates in their chapter 11 cases in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, filed to address approximately $100 million in funded debt through a court-supervised sale of substantially all assets and the establishment of a litigation trust to pursue estate causes of action for the benefit of stakeholders.*
- Represented Clovis Oncology, Inc. and certain of its affiliates in their chapter 11 cases in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, filed to address over $750 million in debt, facilitate two 363 sale transactions, and negotiate and consummate a liquidating chapter 11 plan.*

- Represented Magnetar Capital LLC as DIP financing lender in connection with the prepackaged chapter 11 cases of Appgate, Inc. and certain affiliates in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.*
- Represented Wilmington Trust NA as administrative agent in connection with the prepackaged chapter 11 cases of Internap Holding LLC and certain affiliates in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.*
- Represented J.P. Morgan as exit financing lender in connection with the chapter 11 cases of Carlson Travel, Inc. and certain affiliates in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.*
- Represented Corre Partners as investor and existing lender in connection with amending TEAM Inc.’s existing $250 million senior secured term loan facility.*
