Jake Fulton joined Ropes & Gray’s Chicago office in 2025 and works in the health care group. While in law school, Jake worked as a law clerk for Ropes & Gray and as a research fellow for the Designing Democracy Project at the University of Virginia’s Karsh Center for Law and Democracy. He also participated in the Health and Disability Law Clinic at Legal Aid Justice Center, where he worked on Medicaid eligibility appeals and supported research projects related to Medicaid policy and local property tax relief programs.

Prior to law school, Jake worked in the government and public sector consulting division of a large public accounting firm, where he advised clients on remediating deficiencies in internal controls for medical revenue cycle management and other financial reporting matters. Jake is licensed as a certified public accountant in Virginia.
