Maureen joined Ropes & Gray's intellectual property transactions department in 2024. While in law school, Maureen completed a legal internship at a renewable energy company in Boston and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Justice Dalila Argaez Wendlandt at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. In addition, Maureen served as articles editor for the Northeastern University Law Review. Maureen also worked as a research assistant for intellectual property professor Alexandra Roberts.
Prior to law school, Maureen worked as a paralegal at a business immigration law firm and at a global bank. Maureen obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowdoin College with a double major in history and government/legal studies.
Experience
- Advised TPG on its definitive agreement to acquire Learfield, the nation’s leading media and technology company powering college athletics.
- Advised Advent, a leading global private equity investor, on its acquisition of a majority stake in Salt & Stone, the Los Angeles-based, high-performance body care brand.
- Represented CIVC Partners in the sale of portfolio company 829 Studios, a digital marketing firm, to AEA Elevate.
- Represented Kohlberg and ENTRUST Solutions Group in a definitive agreement to sell ENTRUST to Leidos for approximately $2.4 billion. ENTRUST provides engineering, consulting, design, asset integrity, data solutions, and automation services to utilities, operators, and industrial customers.
- Represented an ad hoc group of secured lenders and certain DIP lenders in connection with Maverick Gaming’s chapter 11 cases.
- Represented New Mountain Capital in its growth investment in Access Healthcare, a technology-enabled platform for revenue cycle management intended for the healthcare industry.
