Ryan Haynes joined Ropes & Gray in 2024 as an associate in the firm's antitrust practice group, where he assists with domestic and foreign premerger matters for a range of clients.
Before joining Ropes & Gray, Ryan worked in the antitrust group of another international law firm, where he focused on premerger matters and managed all aspects of hundreds of Hart-Scott-Rodino filings. During law school, Ryan worked in the First Amendment Clinic at the University of Virginia, where he represented clients in FOIA proceedings and drafted an amicus brief regarding the state of Georgia’s application of its anti-SLAPP statute. Ryan also completed an internship at the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia.
