Patrick is an associate in the firm’s finance group, with a primary focus on leveraged finance transactions. He represents private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies and public companies in a range of complex financing transactions, including credit facilities in the syndicated and direct markets, high-yield bond offerings, fund subscription lines and NAV loans.
Prior to joining the firm, Patrick practiced in the Boston office of an international law firm, where he advised financial institutions in a variety of structured finance, CLO and other financing arrangements.
Experience
- Advised American Industrial Partners in connection with the financing for its acquisition of the Global Cellulose Fibers (GCF) business of International Paper.
- Represented American Industrial Partners in connection with the financing for the acquisition of the Sulfuric Acid Regeneration Business of Veolia North America.
- Advised Audax Group in connection with obtaining debt financing for multiple acquisitions and subsequent add-on financings, including a non-hazardous liquid waste management company and a national dental practice management company.
- Represented Cohere Capital in connection with the seller financing for its investment in Leverege, a provider of AI-native software products intended to improve business productivity.
- Represented Parts Town, the leading distributor of parts for the food service industry and a portfolio company of Berkshire Partners and Leonard Green & Partners, in connection with the refinancing of its asset-backed debt facility.
- Represented Amsted Industries, a manufacturer of highly engineered industrial components, in connection with the refinancing of its $1.4 billion credit facility.
- Represented Rubicon Founders in connection with the financing for its acquisition of Horizon Infusions, an operator of ambulatory infusion centers.
- Represented Lincoln Liberty Capital in connection with the financing for its investment in P&A Group, a provider of third-party benefits administration services for employers and employees.
- Represented IQVIA Inc. in connection with the refinancing of the Company’s credit facility and multiple offerings of secured and unsecured notes.
- Advised Acushnet Holdings Corp., a global leader in the design, development, manufacture and distribution of performance-driven golf products in connection with multiple offerings of senior notes totaling $850 million.
- Represented Empire Today, a leading provider of installed home improvements and home furnishings for the last 65 years, in its 2026 comprehensive recapitalization. The transaction was supported by all of Empire Today’s lenders and existing equity sponsors, substantially reduced the company’s funded debt to its lowest level in over a decade, and capitalized the company with a significant new equity investment from an investment group led by funds managed by Invesco Senior Secured Management, Inc. and affiliates of Fortress Investment Group.
- Represented Trinseo, a specialty material solutions provider, in connection with a $1.1 billion innovative financing transaction addressing the Company's 2024 senior secured term loans and $385 million of its 2025 unsecured bonds.
- Represented Ensemble Health, a provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management services for health systems and portfolio company of Berkshire Partners, in connection with its $814 million dividend recapitalization.
- Advised VetCor, a Harvest Partners portfolio company, in connection with obtaining $4.2 billion of senior secured credit facilities and holdco notes to finance the acquisition of People, Pets and Vets and to refinance existing debt.
- Represented TPG and DirecTV in connection with the bank and bond financing for the spinout of DirecTV from AT&T.
- Represented Domino’s Pizza, Inc. on multiple offerings under its whole-business securitization.
