Areas of Practice

Samantha Paradela is a law clerk in Ropes & Gray’s litigation and enforcement practice group. Samantha’s work focuses on civil litigation, including cases that center around labor and employment. She also supports the firm's pro bono efforts, particularly in regards to asylum application cases. 

During law school, Samantha served as an articles editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review. She received the Scholastic “Book” Award in Torts Law and was a designated Chancellor’s Law Scholar. She served as the president of the Latin American Law Students Association and was appointed as a Vanderbilt Law School Ambassador. As a 3L, Samantha also served as the assistant chief justice for her law school’s intercollegiate Moot Court competition, which she won the previous year.
