Lorenzo Russo is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s finance practice.
Lorenzo advises private equity sponsors, corporate groups, and financial institutions on a broad range of financing transactions, with a particular focus on leveraged and acquisition financings supporting private equity investments. He has experience acting for both sponsors and lenders across cross border deals, including syndicated loans, high yield bond issuances, and private placement transactions such as unitranche structures.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Lorenzo trained at leading international firms in London and Luxembourg, where he advised on multi jurisdictional financings, securitisation, and private equity transactions. He holds an LL.M. in International Financial Law from King’s College London and graduated cum laude from Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome.
