Ashley Stamegna joined Ropes & Gray’s Boston office in 2024 as an associate in the litigation and enforcement practice group. During law school, Ashley was a member of the First Amendment Clinic, where she helped local journalists obtain access to public information, including arguing a successful appeal before the Fourth Department of the Supreme Court of New York’s Appellate Division. She also served as the executive vice chancellor of the Moot Court Board and as a publishing editor of the Cornell Law Review.

Before joining the firm, Ashley clerked for the Honorable Amy J. St. Eve in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and for the Honorable Kari A. Dooley in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
