As the Director of Practice Technology at Ropes & Gray, Theresa Spartichino leads a team of practice technologists supporting the firm's legal technology and GenAI initiatives, partnering with practice group leaders to evaluate, pilot, and deploy solutions that enhance the workflows of the firm's specialized practice groups. Her work includes implementing AI-powered legal assistants, document automation tools, and deal intelligence platforms. Theresa's career at Ropes & Gray spans over 20 years, beginning as a Litigation Case Assistant in 2003 and progressing through roles in litigation support, eDiscovery management, and legal technology leadership. This experience gives her a practical understanding of how technology can improve day-to-day legal work. She has spoken at industry events including ILTACON, the American Bar Association, and Harvard Law's Visionaries & Ventures Convention. Theresa recently received the 2026 Monica Bay Women of Legal Tech Award.
