Carlo Grisostomi Travaglini focuses his practice on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, capital markets, and general corporate governance. Trained in both civil and common law settings, Carlo regularly advises private equity sponsors and corporates on complex transactions, including buyouts, minority investments, add-on acquisitions, public M&A, IPOs, and corporate reorganizations. His experience includes drafting and negotiating transaction documents, conducting buy- and sell-side due diligence, and counseling boards and management teams on transactional and regulatory issues. He holds an LL.M. from Columbia Law School, where he served as article editor of the Columbia Journal of European Law and treasurer of the Columbia Law School Italian Society. Before pursuing his LL.M., Carlo practiced for several years as a corporate associate in a leading Italian law firm.
