Caroline has experience advising clients in contentious and non-contentious matters related to complex, cross-border restructurings, recapitalization transactions and insolvency matters across a variety of industry sectors and asset classes.

Experience

  • Bain Capital Credit in connection with its investment in the INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in South Korea.
  • A prospective equity investor in Thames Water, in relation to its historic restructuring proceedings.
  • Oriflame in connection with a comprehensive recapitalization to deliver a substantially de-levered and sustainable balance sheet with a debt reduction of approximately €520 million and a meaningful maturity runway.
  • an ad hoc group of creditors to Intrum, a European debt collection business, with respect to a recapitalization transaction.
  • the bondholders of Cabonline, a Nordic transport services company, in comprehensive debt-for-equity swap restructuring and provision of new money under Swedish written procedure.*
  • the ad hoc committees of noteholders in the debt-for-equity swap restructuring of Codere, an international gaming and gambling company.*
  • a lead creditor to the Ziton group, an offshore wind service ship operator, on its full debt and equity capital restructuring in the Nordic market.*
  • the Hemisphere lenders in the context of the Steinhoff Group restructuring process implemented by a Dutch WHOA.*
  • a fund providing finance to, and in relation to a credit bid for, the Corbin & King restaurant group in a sale process run by an Administrator, including in relation to connected moratorium and injunctive proceedings.*
