Dario, an associate in London's asset management group, delivers strategic guidance to fund managers and investors across diverse alternative asset classes. His expertise spans secondaries, co-investments, and intricate LP matters, encompassing transactions such as portfolio sales, stapled offerings, fund restructurings, and GP-led initiatives. Additionally, Dario regularly advises on the structuring, formation, offering, and ongoing operation of private investment funds. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, he practiced at leading international law firms in Toronto and Milan.

Experience

  • Represented a Dutch pension fund in the divestiture of a private equity portfolio valued at around $2 billion, successfully navigating negotiations with multiple secondary buyers
  • Represented AlpInvest in a secondary purchase of a portfolios of interest from a Swedish pension fund and negotiated staple primary commitment as part of the same transaction
  • Represented a Swiss global impact investment firm in a secondary purchase of an impact investment portfolio from a UK pension fund and negotiated staple primary commitment as part of the same transaction
  • Represented a sovereign investor in multiple co-investment transactions spanning diverse asset classes
  • Represented a Swiss global impact investment in a multi-asset continuation fund established by a venture capital firm focused on alternative energy, mobility, and sustainability
  • Advised leading global private markets firm Partners Group, acting on behalf of its clients, on its investment in Sterling Pharma Solutions
  • Represented Partners Group in a large number of secondaries transactions including GP-led solutions, fund restructurings, portfolio sales and other liquidity solutions
  • Represented a sovereign investor in a secondary purchase of two portfolios of interests from a large Swiss investment manager
  • Represented a sovereign investor in a secondary purchase of a portfolio of interest from a UK pension fund
  • Represented Committed Advisors in its purchase of a portfolio of fund interests from an independent Swiss wealth and asset manager
  • Represented Committed Advisors in its purchase of a portfolio of fund interests from a US pension fund
  • Acted for an American wealth management and investment firm in negotiating a co-investment agreement whereby client had lead-investor role
