Areas of Practice

Dario Valoncini advises fund managers and investors across a range of alternative asset classes. He focuses his practice on secondaries, GP stakes and complex LP matters, including portfolio sales, stapled offerings, fund restructurings and GP-led transactions. Dario also advises on the structuring, formation, offering and ongoing operation of private investment funds.

Dario was previously in the London investment funds practice of another U.S. law firm and practiced at leading international law firms in Toronto and Milan.

  • Committed Advisors on its acquisition of a large portfolio of fund interests from Peugeot Invest, the Peugeot family office, for €227 million*
  • An Asian real estate alternative investment manager on the establishment of a $46 million Cayman-domiciled continuation vehicle, enabling the transfer of real estate assets in Macau and Thailand. The transaction involved reinvestment by the sponsor and attracted additional investors*
