Henry has experience advising clients on contentious and non-contentious matters related to complex, cross-border restructuring, recapitalisation and insolvency transactions across a variety of industry sectors and asset classes and involving companies and stakeholders in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.

Experience

  • Altice France S.A. and Altice France Holding S.A. on the launch of their historic balance sheet restructuring involving more than €24 billion of debt, whereby Altice France and Altice France Holding entered into restructuring framework agreements with holders of their term loans, senior secured notes and senior notes
  • Arrival on navigating their distressed situation, including putting in place unique and innovative secured bridge financing and concurrent convertible bond exchange, a first in the European market, and subsequent strategic sale transaction, ultimately culminating in administration
  • Exactech, Inc. and its affiliated debtors in their pending chapter 11 cases involving the restructuring of more than $350 million of prepetition debt, as well as additional prepetition liabilities; Exactech’s chapter 11 cases are supported by an $85 million debtor in possession credit facility and a stalking horse bid, which remains subject to higher and better offers, for substantially all of the debtors’ assets
  • Lebara, a European telecom business, on its sale to a European private equity firm with our advice on the sale following our prior successful transition to the previous owners by way of a share pledge enforcement and subsequent restructuring and refinancing
  • Oriflame in connection with a comprehensive recapitalisation to deliver a substantially de-levered and sustainable balance sheet with a debt reduction of approximately €520 million and a meaningful maturity runway
