Rae joined Ropes & Gray’s corporate department in 2024. While in law school, Rae completed a legal internship at a non-profit medical clinic in New York and was selected to represent her law school at the Regional ABA Client Counseling Competition. Additionally, Rae worked as a research assistant focusing on the legal ethics of cultural competency in patent prosecution.
Before law school, Rae worked for two years as a compliance officer and legal assistant at a university in Cairo, Egypt. She also served for three years as editor for an Egyptian author and political activist’s academic papers and book on the urban politics of Cairo.
Rae obtained her BS from Tulane University with a double major in cell & molecular biology and international development.
